This is the first cycle car we made

This was made in about 1990 and was a success entered in the Shell Mileage Marathon1990. This had a Datsun 4 speed gearbox a Dihatsu differential Mini minor front wheels and a Robin five hp engine clocked 98 miles per gallon.Not bad for a thirteen year old, He had to wait a year before he could enter the mileage marathon.Those front wheels came off my trailer when I was away. Nothing was sacred in the name of fun.
